Julie came to M81 for a brand refresh wanting to better reflect her approach and aesthetic. Like Julie’s design approach, we looked to the outside world for inspiration. What elements of nature could we use to influence the design?
We looked at natural patterns in materials, the textures of natural surfaces, and colour palettes from the great outdoors. We wanted the experience of the brand to be as cool as a breeze, as fresh as the summer rain, as smooth as polished stone when running your fingers across the surface.
